The Revd. Awdry version is lacking most of the engine access doors and other apendages that are on the real thing though, so the bodywork isn't that smooth.........

They were the standard UK switcher in BR days with over 1000 produced in various configurations - and relatively new on the scene when the original Thomas books were published.
