Hi All

I was able to get to the Illinois Railway Museum and was able to take pictures and get measurements of the Worthington feed water heater on Chicago Burlington & Quincy 4963. For my 1.6" scale locomotive build.

As you can see from the picture the patent plate is missing. I would like to know what version of patent plate was installed on the B3. "BOILER FEED PUMP & FEED WATER HEATER" or "LOCOMOTIVE FEED WATER HEATER and PUMP" I would also like to get pictures of the top of a Worthington Feed Water Pump

Are there any other B3 pumps in captivity?

Thanks

Tim

Here is the best I have of the B3. The plate looks exactly the same as the BL. I'd wager that the only difference is the data stamped in the two areas at the bottom. Likely model number and maybe a serial number or rebuild date.
WORTHINGTON
(LOGO)
LOCOMOTIVE FEED
WATER HEATER and PUMP
WORTHINGTON PUMP AND MACHINERY CORPORATION
2 more lines of characters
2 areas for stamped data.

Good luck.
