are large, 14" headlight reflectors available through any source. What about the yellow tinted reflectors like the golden glows.

Best option I found was spinning them on a wooden form in copper, then plating. When I started to figure the cost, I reused the dinged up old one.

We have been attempting to find someone willing to make glass reflectors for several years. We found an individual who took on the challenge of forming a perfect parabola in glass and perfected a technique for doing so, making two reflectors for us before completely losing interest and refusing to make any more. We are in the preliminary stages of getting another glass person to give it a shot. Stay tuned.

Once the glass parabola is made, getting the reflective mirroring put on is pretty routine.

How about the folks at AAMSCO? They make the bulbs from scratch, why not the reflectors?

You might get lucky and find a stainless steel mixing bowl that will do the job for you at a restaurant supply store. I found a smaller one at Wal Mart for a cosmetic restoration of a little tanker a couple years ago.

Bob: I found a few potential suppliers of metal reflectors a while ago when looking for an 18" reflector. There are two in your part of the country, ORC Electroformed Products (Optical Radiation Corporation) in Azusa, and Opti-Forms in Temecula. I couldn't find a website for ORC, but here is a link to Opti-Forms.
