Photo of the last extant Delaware & Hudson roundhouse, at Rouses Point, NY. Turntable, oil house and sand facilities are still in place, though tracks to them removed. Building is in relatively good condition, said to be used for storage. The wooden roll up door was installed before the end of steam in 1953. The odd concrete structure nearby was the "banana house" where reefers of bananas were once unloaded for whatever reason, probably to do with import duties.
