Hello All

If anyone is passing through the Scranton area today (5/8) or tomorrow you might be able to catch a rare outting of Steamtown's DL&W 2-6-0 #565. Long stored in the roundhouse, the unrestored engine was moved (temporarilly) outside this morning. Scranton's other DL&W engine, the GVT Rail's 1935 EMC switcher #426, usually tucked away in one place or another, is on dispay (along with a cut of freshley painted box cars) behind the DL&W train station/hotel in downtown for the rail-freight seminar that's taking place there.

Neat stuff if you're passing through.

Hey Rob

Yep, with DL 3643, 4103, four NPS coaches and the Lehigh Valley 353 Business Car. Quite a few days here in the Electric City.

4118 broke its crankshaft about a month ago.
