We would like to start by saying thanks to all of you that have sent emails full of support. Although we may not respond to all emails, we do read everyone. We are all trying to stay optimistic at this time and we ask that you do the same. There are no immediate plans to sell off any of the passenger equipment.

A slight change in the plans for this weekends excursion from Dennison to Newark with the 6325. We had planned on running the 6325, but it was decided last evening to double-head both the 4-6-2 #1293 and 4-8-4 #6325 for this excursion. It should be a great run(140 miles round trip).

One note for those chasing the trip (or riding) the first 16 miles of the run will be limited to 10-15mph due to a large tie replacement program. This is the section of track from Dennison to Newcomerstown. After that we will be running track speed 30mph and 40mph the rest of the way.

Thanks and we hope to see you this Saturday,
The Ohio Central Steam Department

Jason-
I realize things around there have to be pretty tough right now, but could you email me offsite when you get a chance? P.S- Thanks again for using my picture ;-)
