Is there a listing of ALL of these platforms? An official from a municipality asked me about these and I can't seem to find such a listing on the internet. There are some that give "reviews" of certain platforms or lists by certain regions, but I am not interested in these, figuring to let this person do the investigation if so interested. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Of course, in addition to these well-known and sometimes publicized ones, there are numerous unofficial, semi-sanctioned railfan-gathering locations nationwide, such as the train station platforms at Flagstaff and Kingman, Arizona, the MARC station platform at St. Denis, Md., and others.

I am currently working on getting one of these built in my municipality, so I would be very interested in a list.

I think Imlay City, Michigan may be the only place in the state of Michigan with a dedicated railroad platform.
