Well known in the steam railroading community, Youngstown's Hank Marsilio has passed away.

Hank was a fighter and gave everything he could to try and beat the cancer. He will be missed by many. He was never afraid to teach others willing to learn.

I was lucky enough to spend thousands of hours over 10 years learning the boilermaker trade from him. He taught me to weld as well as correctly install tubes, hammer staybolts and rivets.

He was a very proud Italian father and loved talking about the boys.

Hank had a massive influence on my early life and I will miss our lengthy spirted discussions. Rest in peace buddy!
