Hey all, we are restoring an old electric mine lokie that replaced the mules in puling the cars around the mines. anyways in cleaning it up we found the brass data tag still attached..... suprizingly! anyways it states, Built by Vulcan Iron Works Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA, Patent NO. 1,735,137 - Dated NOV. 12. 1929. so i figured i'd search the patent # and get some drawings or some info, but upon doing this something else came up under that number?? Did they reuse #s after so many years? If anyone has any info please let me know. we have some pics of it on our projects page on the site. thanks again
