Volunteers at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum (MCRM) have completed the restoration of Copper Range Railroad coach #60. The restoration process spanned over six years with some 40 different volunteers involved.

Coach 60 was built as a second-class coach in 1903 by the American Car & Foundry Co. (AC&F), in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The #60 was a typical open-platform car of the period and it was one of six identical cars ordered by the then five-year old Copper Range Railroad (AC&F Lot No. 2504). The car has been painstakingly restored to the 1944 to 1946 appearance, representing the final period of the railroad's passenger service.

The car has been placed on public display in the museum's Coach Shed building along with the recently completed Milwaukee, Lake Shore and Western coach #63 (Barney & Smith 1888). In addition to coach 60, MCRM also has Copper Range combine #25 in it's collection.
