You may recall that there used to be a page in the online HeritageRail Alliance magazine called Project Reports. It was my attempt to track all the active North American restorations and other large capital projects. I let it lapse when we switched over to the new website.

Now I'm attempting to revive it and am compiling a new list that is more complete than the old one. See it below. I know there are plenty that are missing because you can't find them online. Even so, the number is impressive. I'm always amazed at what is being accomplished.

Also I thought Orange Empire was restoring Ward Kimball's engine "Emma Nevada"

Plus Walt Disney World #1 "Walter E. Disney" is close to finishing overhaul, and WDW #3 "Roger Broggie" just began overhaul at Strasburg.

Then there's the 4-4-0 Crown that's being restored into whatever the next available ET&WNC roster number at the Doe River Gorge Christian Camp in Hamilton, TN.

Regarding the B&LE 2-10-4, so far I'm considering it an acquisition. Haven't read anything yet that says they've started the restoration. I know that sounds picky, but I have to draw the line somewhere. Doubtless it will migrate to the active list soon.
