We will be making every effort to update everyone on the K4 restoration process periodically. We will be utilizing the web site of the Horseshoe Curve Chapter of the NRHS to do so. Here are the latest photos.

Wow!

The more you take that engine apart the more you find needs fixed.

Some roads retired engines fresh from an overhaul; not the PRR. Clearly they got their money's worth out of 1361.

We are still hoping for a fall 2004 completion. This depends in part on our ability to keep a full compliment of people on the project. We did just lose 2 of our crew and had to take time to replace them. Steamtown hired them to work on their own projects and we simply couldn't match the NPS offer.
