Can someone tell me what ALCO Engine American Locomotive Company Builders Plate #55866 is associated with?

Where can I find Roster of ALCO Builder Plates Numbers and What Engines they're connected to their ?

Contact the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society as they sell the Alco records and many other builder's records. There may also be a CD available through Tap Lines that has all the Alco records. If all else fails, contact me as as I purchased copies of the records and I have an extensive library. I might be able to you.

The Mohawk and Hudson Chapter of the NRHS used to have the archival material from ALCO. I assume they still have it.

IIRC, the local library held the archival material and the NRHS chapter had an agreement to sell photograph copies and other copies.
