IMHO: I'm glad your man was on the ball and had the presence of mind to shoo the visitor away. I will believe he knew more about what was going on or what might happen then the visitor.

There are some real idiots in the world. During the 3rd trip I was up by the crossing at Indian Echo Caverns, and some tourists were standing IN THE GAUGE waiting for the train. They didn't move until the saw the train come around the corner. (And yes, those of us who were trying to set up a photo line asked them to move.)
