One of the damaged B&O Museum coaches has arrived for rebuilding, and the D&RGW 2-8-0 No. 346 from Colorado RR Museum was due in yesterday for boiler work ...does anyone know if it has arrived yet? A third narrow gauge rail extends into the backshop to permit the 346's entry into the backshop.

Actually, I thin they are getting the C&O Jim Crow Combine number 409 for restoration work. The combine was not in the roundhouse, but located in the open air shed behind the museum. Glad to see some work done on the car. Check the link below, and click on the August 1 update. Isn't the car really an ex Hoking Valley car?

I can report that I saw this car on a lowboy road trailer a week ago at the B&O Museum. At the time, I thought it was only being hauled out from the shed for movement into the car shop. If it is indeed going to Strasburg, it's good news--no insult to the guys at the B&O Museum, but they have their hands full.
