Yes, very nice to see, although I believe he preferred a motorboat with three propellers.

Really nice trim looking engine. Looks like a first class job.

Anybody know what's in that box mounted on the tender behind the oil bunker?

Hmm. This nicely restored steam locomotive 148 gets me to
wondering if there might be any outside chance of U.S. Sugar
somehow partnering up with the new tourist outfit that now
runs on Florida Central railroad between Tavares and Mt. Dora, FL?

That "new outfit" hasn't turned a wheel all year and has notified the FRA that they have ceased operation. The cars and locomotives are being sent elsewhere. ... So that's gonna be a hard "NO"

Wow. That is the first I've heard that bit of news. Thank you for
posting that! Being as though I fired Richard Grigsby's little
old "Orange Blossom Cannonball" during its last 6 months
of operation there, and seeing as how that was some of
the most enjoyable and memorable railroading in my life so
far, I can't say that I'm particularly sorry to hear this news.

That new outfit sure did not last very long...
