Where is this ‘49 Budd sleeping car today? Was it really a former RBBX car and now stored in Kentucky? Or, was it refurbished and now running on the CVSR in Ohio? Both cannot be true, and both can be false. Seeking the help of the RYPN community to determine the true history for both cars in question.

Below are some references pointing to ex-PRR 8260 going somewhere different, either to Ringling Brothers or to Akron Metro, and two cars with on-line history pointing to the same sleeper. One is now PAXX 8260 (ex-RBBX 41316) and the other now is CVSR 166. Both cars appear to be ex-PRR 21-roomette sleepers from that railroad's Inn-series, though the CVSR car has a letterboard directly above the window band while the Paxrail car has roof fluting down to the window band. Which one, if either, is ex-PRR 8260? And, if not the 8260, which car is it?

This CVSR Facebook post also details the history of their car as ex-PRR 8260. Other ex-PRR sister cars in their fleet came to them via Akron Metro. (Should the link fail, search for "CVSR 166" in Facebook.)

CVSR's coach 166 is indeed former PRR 8260. Please see the attached photo showing the car's data plate inside 166's electrical locker. Hope this helps.
