April 1st has become amazingly lame online.
I'm just fine with a lockdown on tomfollery as I can't remember the last time I saw something that was clever in any way for April Fool stuff...

Just because you and I are unimaginative does not mean we should punish any ones that may try. After all, we may be surprised.

Perhaps those who want to contribute something for tomorrow do so on their own blog/forum/facebook page/etc.
Then include a link to that item in THIS THREAD.
On April 2, this thread can be moved to Railfaning and/or locked.

Personally, I'm looking forward to finding out who CP is merging with tomorrow.

I'm as imaginative as the day is long. That's why I find most of these online April Fools things tedious and tired.

People generally aren't as funny as they think they are and almost all of it turns out to be a bunch of useless digital clutter.

Silly me, hoping that tomorrow would bring a reasonable discussion of how today's President's Infrastructure Program Proposal would affect our industry.

It's actually a Spiro Agnew quote, which was directed at the Media during the 1970 midterm elections.

The last and best April Fools joke was the High Green newsletter story that Tom Thumb was headed cross-country on its own power to the (first?) Sacramento Railfair in 1981. Chessie System at the time had to print a denial.

I had read where April Fool's Day has been cancelled this year because there's no way to be more off the wall than things really are. I can believe that.

Doing parody has to be awfully difficult these days.
