It is with great sadness and regret that we have to announce the passing of one of the original founders of the Friends of the Stewartstown Railroad, Inc. Mr. Raymond E. Reter.

Mr. Reter had been active with the Stewartstown Railroad, for close to two decades serving in a variety of roles. His duties have included Newsletter Editor, Station Master, President, Secretary, gift shop manager, and most recently Treasurer. He was a very loyal and dedicated member who cared deeply about the railroad, but most importantly, the Friends organization.

Ray leaves behind a major void that almost can't be filled. Please bear with us as we find our way forward without one of our most loyal Friends. We will do our best to keep the FSR organization moving foward. Thank you, Ray, for your many years of selfless service and dedication to the Friends. We will definitely miss you.
