What is this "streetcar" in Webb City, Missouri? It sounds like a former railcar that now runs on rubber tires. Just what is it?

Nope, it's a bona-fide rail operation. Years ago, I stumbled upon it quite by accident, driving across the hinterland to Texas. It runs in what I recall to be a city park/cemetary, and is std-gauge.

I stopped by this place once in the mid 80s, but it was closed. I recall a station that had been recently moved, and another carbody or two on the property. The line was probably part of a quarry or pit mining operation.

I had heard from others that this was a pretty hokey restoration, with a guy sitting on a stool in the middle of the car shifting gears.
