Discount Decorative (customer not any financial interest) sent me an email about house flags at 60% off - one was a PA state flag showing a steam locomotive on Horsehoe Curve on top, with the Liberty Bell and an Amish buggy below.... just in case any PRR fans are interested it's $9.99 right now. Google them, second page of clearance sale.

Also, I think it's a J1, not a K4s. But either way it's nice.

You guys can buy me one if you want. My lovely wife of 26 years and I are not averse to keeping Pennsy stuff in our home plus we have a big blank wall available in our downstairs unisex bathroom where we'll be happy to display it.

EDIT: Changed "adverse" to averse. LOL

This is not an official flag of the PRR, Commonwealth of PA or RR Museum of PA.

Locomotive is a fairly bad rendition of a J1 2-10-4, with an oval boiler and running against the current of traffic on No 2 track. There is no evidence of No 4 track but it could be off the side of the image.

LOL Phil!!! One of my old landscaping buddies would always call those things "stupid flags". He was in the Navy as well but over in the Pacific so that may very well be a traditional maritime slang term off the left coast for all I know...

At least theirs are made out of nylon so they really will last season after season.

Couldn't they have found room on the flag for the Declaration and the Constitution; how Independence Hall?

So you know that thread about sexism in the hobby/industry?

Here's an example of it being a casual thing.

Here you go, Ed. I found one you might like a lot better and it's even made out of cheap Chinese polyester as well...

Flags can be as diverse as the people who fly them along with the opinions they hold dear so our esteemed RYPN moderators may want to remain on hot standby for this thread also. LOL
