Steam Locomotives Along Hwy 11 Ontario

This upcoming weekend I'm hopping on my motorcycle and riding up hwy 11 to Kapuskasing then back down through Timmins to Sudbury and back home to Leaskdale, Ont.

The point of this ride is to stop at the Locos along the way and take a few pictures. Here are the locos I hope to see:

North Bay: Temiskaming and Northern Ontario 2-8-0 #503 (Might not be able to see this one as it may be in storage)

Inglehart: Temiskaming and Northern Ontario 4-6-2 #701

Iroquois falls: Abitibi Power & Paper Shay3Tr #70

Smooth Rock Falls: Mattagami RR 2-6-0 #100

Kapusking: CNR 4-6-2 #5107

Timmins/Porcupine: Hollinger Gold Mines 0-4-0ST #70

Capreol: Temiskaming and Northern Ontario 4-6-0 #219

Capreol: CNR 4-8-2 #6077

I haven't come across anything saying any of these have moved and if you know that may be the case please let me know.

Yes I want to post the pictures. When I got back I didn't see how to do it here but since that I have seen it. I got swamped at work since but now with month end over I should find some time to post them.

Hopefully this eve after I get home from work.

Edit: it's slow at work this AM so posted the pics. Thanks for showing interest!

This engine is on display and it's obvious then town of Inglehart, Ontario takes great pride in showing it. (I love the look of Pacifics!)

This is a nice looking Pacific that could use some paint.

Kapuskacing was as far up highway 11 as I went. After that I headed south to Timmins and Capreol (north of Sudbury.)

This was the saddest loco I saw. In a playground forgotten and just rusting away. :(

Capreol: Temiskaming and Northern Ontario 4-6-0 #219

Capreol: CNR 4-8-2 #6077

These were on Display at the "Northern Ontario Railroad Museum & Heritage Centre ( link: https://normhc.ca ) in Capreol, Ontario. This is a bit north of Sudbury. I knew it would be closed but could see the locos on display behind fencing from Streetview.

I couldn't get close to them but they looked in great shape:

This ends this particular trip. I have others from Ontario and some from my summer trip to British Columbia.

This is a great set of photos. Thank you for posting them.
Some 40+ years back, there was a 4-6-0 in the Cochrane locomotive shop being worked on. I lost track of that one. Is it the same loco, the 219, that is now at Capreol?
