They have received word from VIA Rail that they must leave. Closing date is set for December 31, 2021. Hopefully they can find a new home.

That's too bad. Among other things they have Canadian Pacific #1 The Countess of Dufferin, an 1872 Baldwin 4-4-0 built for Northern Pacific and I believe the first steam locomotive on the Canadian prairies, used for the building of the CP transcontinental route. They also have a GMD-1 in original CN colors.

Wasn't Countess of Dufferin displayed at the CPR Station in Winnipeg back when each railway ran its own trains?
