First, you'd have to restore 3028 to operating condition.....

But why would they do that? They HAVE other Niagras of their own................ just like we have two PAs now......

I meant that only in jest.

Glad to see an operating PA though. They seem to be taking decent care of her down there.

Apparently, Pullman Green does indeed fade into a lighter and more recognizable yellow if it bakes out in the sun long enough which is something I never saw happen with any old Reading engine. I'll have to keep that in mind... LOL

Who would believe this in 2022? Amazing and satisfying to see the Mexican museum has these locos in operating condition.

Sorry, but the Internet is full of people who say such nonsense seriously.

TRUST ME ON THIS: The FT and PA are not for sale or trade.

Anybody who is really interested in seeing them run would be made welcome In Puebla at the Mexican national railroad museum. These engines are fired up a couple times a month for museum members. If you were to ask, I bet special arrangements could be made for photography, etc. If anybody needs help with something along those lines, just shoot me a PM.

Even if it is, it rides on EMD Blomberg trucks, and there are no unclaimed PA trucks left in existence to put back under it.

Isn't there a FT-B unit floating around down in Mexico as well?

I do believe there is, most likely at Puebla.

I believe we're talking about the same thing. The national railroad museum in Mexico is located in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico. I'm pretty sure they have a matching Sonora Baja California FT B unit, but it wasn't used in the video. They must not have needed two motors to move OdeM #2 around.
