Guess you'll have to interview the entire town they were firing up an engine in the middle of! Is the new normal to crucify people for being curious about if something went well? By the looks of things, the Facebook posts asking about it were blocked until after they posted their own video, so it would seem there were already a plethora of photos online before the video.

Starting to sound like you work there. Does company policy extend to everyone who doesn't? The announcement seemed official the second a whistle was blasted for all to hear.

Said photo looks like it was taken from the roundhouse apron, right next to and in front of employees. Not from the parking lot or road. Whoever took the photo either asked to be there or was allowed to be. As a condition of being there they were probably asked to not share it until the EBT made their announcement.

Photographers have every expectation to honor the property owners wishes when they are given special access. Again, EBT is not public property, nor can the scene that was the subject of the photo be seen or photographed from public property. I'm not sure what the misunderstanding here is that a person was asked to not share photos for a short time in return for being allowed to be there is expected to not share them. If it were my railroad, I would be unhappy as well. Anyone who can't understand understand this would be the type of person I'd expect to find back past the "no trespassing" signs cameras clicking away, and becoming indignant when told to leave. (Can you tell I've run into plenty of these types of railfans before?)

Guess EBT GM Esposito will now need to have all EBT persons that were on or around the vicinity on that day to take a lie detector test and anyone who fails shall receive a lifetime ban on EBT property.

If all the EBT folks pass the lie detector test then he'll know it was an outside job.

Amazing how much bandwidth we're spending on a non-issue.
