National Capital Trolley Museum will re-open the Visitors Center on Saturday October 11 from Noon - 5 p.m., and continue regular weekend hours after that date. There is no trolley service at this time. Museum volunteers, with help from our friends Art Schwartz and Dave Crowe at PTM have developed a plan to reconnect the rectifier to the overhead wire in the coming weeks. (The rectifier fed the trolley through the barn that burned.)

We continue to work with our insurance agent regarding demolition of the building that was destroyed by the fire. The Museum plans to conserve artifacts from cars lost in the fire. We are not able to access the interior spaces and therefore cannot speculate on exactly parts are salvageable at this point.
