The published ratings for a GE 44-tonner are:
--Tractive effort at 30% adhesion = 26,440 lbs
--Tractive effort at hourly rating of motor = 15,500 lbs
--Tractive effort at continuous rating of motor= 13,000 lbs.

I have tried a number of unsuccessful searches to find the corresponding ratings for a GE 45-tonner. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

The only thing I found online is 27,000 lbs tractive effort at 30% adhesion.

My GE 45 ton manual from 1947 says the same thing. (27,000 lbs tractive effort at 30% adhesion) It doesn't list any of the other tractive effort data that TDS1994 is requesting, but it does show a speed-tractive-effort curve. Using the graph, I could derive the following:

20,000 lbs tractive effort at 3 miles per hour
12,500 lbs tractive effort at 6 miles per hour
5,000 lbs tractive effort at 14 miles per hour
etc...

TDS1994 - If you think the graph would be helpful in any way, I might be able to scan it for you. I know it's not what you are looking for, though.
