I do think it should be posted here, when it is generated, as its own new thread, with a title like "K4 1361 Restoration May 2023 Update".

I get the impression they poast one or two business days after the 'news' happens.

I'd expect Shane to post as soon as he has something together. Or you could call them at (423) 425-9753 and induce them to put something up here.

I drove out to ride the Everett Railroad Company event at 12PM, well worth the time if you are planning a trip to ALTO or EBT.
Excellent restoration of the engine and CNJ open window coaches.The station and area are all clean, with nice bathrooms.
Great for a addition to a weekend or day trip

Maybe it was a " restricted" event limited to donors who have given a minimum of $ 500 and who have been asked to keep the proceedings under wraps for now??

I can assure you that they are keeping the heavy hitters very up to date and reserving public statements for when significant milestones have been met.
