Now that the trashed locomotive thread has been trashed, I decided to start a new thread.

Does anyone know where the cut rod and repainted EBT 3 is going?

Thank you,

Wesley

Yes, it is a Question of Where in Florida did she go to!

it seems as though she left Huntingdon County and just Vanished from there

recent Google searches have come up empty handed

Calling the Previous Owner would provide you with the Same information as Calling a Railroad Tie to ask it

Maybe, just maybe down the line when the EBTF has acquired the last few miles into Mt. Union and the yard complex there they can find the EBT's # 3's sister engine that I'm told survives somewhere and bring her back home ??

The #6 is stored at the Whitewater Valley in Indiana Ross

The case of #3 let me puzzled, why EBT not put on display with the 1934 standard-gauge PRR boxcar at Rockhill Furnace??

Because 1) the "EBT" that is now in Orby/Rockhill Furnace didn't own the #3 and 2) standard gauge steam never ran in Orbisonia.

Ah ok thank. I though EBT own the #3 at the time when he purchase the railroad from Kovalchick and still own it

I know #3 is a standard gauge locomotive i just thinking that would be a good fit with the boxcar but now i know the EBT not own the #3

There is a technicality involved here.

The northernmost section of the EBT (including the Mt. Union yard and enginehouse) was sold off to Larry Salone's "EBT Preservation Society" or whatever it was some time ago, but supposedly ONLY the right-of-way, not the track or anything on it--including rolling stock. The latter was supposedly retained by Kovalchick.

Presuming that information is correct, it would be the K company that sold off (or donated or whatever) EBT 3, NOT either Salone's company or the new non-profit. And supposedly that happened some time ago; they're just now getting around to moving it out...........
