Ex-Rutland RS-1 donated

A message on one of the YahooGroups lists reports Consumers Energy Corp.has donated a RS-1 to the Saginaw Railway Museum. Unit is originally Rutland 401.

The Saginaw Railway Museum is on the southwest side of Saginaw, Michigan. I believe that Consumers' Energy used the RS-1 at their plant in Essexville, Michigan.

I think we'd all like to see a recent photo. Isn't the former Rutland 402 still on the Coopersville & Marne, with a chopped nose?

Chop-nosed TSBY 2394 (ex-Rutland #402) is still on the Coopersville & Marne. When I saw it a few weeks ago, it was stored behind the fence at the Delphi auto parts plant at the west end of the line. It's currently inoperable. There's a photo and info page on this one at the link below.
