Scranton 505 was a Rail City Car. Thank you for saving it.

It was in outdoor storage for some 50 years and is getting extensive restoration of the carbody. Pullman had bought Osgood-Bradley and we were able to get construction drawings for the car. It will be a while before this project is completed.

However, there will be enough original parts it won't be "jack up the number and build a new car under it."

BTW Scranton 324 was discovered in the bar portion of a restaurant that was being demolished.
