I made a serious attempt to get the AFT 2.0 proposal in front of Biden by enlisting the support of Mayor Cognetti of Scranton who had a very close personal friendship with him. I met for over an hour with her in July 2023 and we agreed on a plan going forward which entailed me generating 20 support letters from people who were involved in AFT 1.0 and could testify to its positive impact on the nation and a proposal that we would make Scranton the 125th. and final display stop of the 3 year tour and put the AFT 2.0 display consist on permanent display at Steamtown.

The packet was to go directly to Biden from her. I was able to generate the letters and put together the rest of the inclusions and then she went dark on me without any explanation.

The only thing I can think of is her being advised by his senior staff of his mental limitations and that this would be too much to add to his agenda???

Darn shame as it would have certainly worked and helped Scranton/Steamtown in a big way.

You win some and lose some and that's how life goes. Ross Rowland

Wait, you are telling us you think that he that his senior staff felt the need not to burden him with something like an AFT proposal in 2023, but they didn't mind him with access to the nuclear football until four weeks ago.

Do you really want to run with that?

Funny she didn't have the courtesy to follow up.

You might want to give our mutual friend in Minersville a call.

He experienced somebody "going dark" after presenting a proposal to somebody in Scranton, even drafting an application for a special use permit, making multiple trips, including a video showing the capabilities of a certain chunky six-wheel switcher, as it pulled a 2000 ton freight train , extraordinary intervention by an interested friend with the R&N and a reminder from yours truly to not leave him hanging.

He can help you with getting jerked around by people feigning interest/enthusiasm or access/capacity.

Perhaps you'll share with us the specific cause of your histrionic distress, because quite frankly, at this point, I see no evidence that you have any competence to opine upon such matters and you certainly seem to have one agenda-promote the idea that fiscal restraint is a catastrophe.

LOL Do Your Own Research.

I learned the hard lesson that folks coming at me like that will not believe anything that does not support their preexisting condition.

There's plenty of information sources that answer your question. Yea, Fake News and Trump Derangement Syndrome

Plenty more that demonstrate the difference between fiscal restraint and destroying a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; and replacing "people" in that phase with "Oligarch."

America does not have a spending problem, it has a revenue problem which is NOT going to be solved by even more massive tax cuts for the richest 1 %.

Even David Stockton, the Ronald Reagan era originator of the Trickle Down propaganda admitted Trickle Down was BS.

LOL? Are you a 12 year old girl on AOL in 1998?

I note the inability to answer a direct question. I don't know what you do for a living, if anything, but I know what you do not do.

Have you considered therapy?

Rich Houck made a well-cited case for Leftism-as-mental-illness via his 2018 work ‘Liberalism Unmasked.’ He identified several common indicators of mental illness that are consistently exhibited, to varying degrees, by Leftists. These included: delusion, hypocrisy, projection, deceitfulness (lying, exaggerating, omitting, etc.), irrationality, unnecessary aggression when doubted, inability to accept new information, and feelings of victimization, self-hatred, and persecution.

Within-study meta-analysis of all the results found that extreme liberals had a 150% increased rate of mental illness compared to moderates. The finding of increased mental illness among left-wingers is congruent with numerous findings based on related constructs, such as positive relationships between conservatism, religiousness and health in general.

I hope your daughter can research that.

Bringing someone's kids into this mess is hitting well below the belt and just trying to start a real fight.....

Politics belongs somewhere else... This group is barely mature enough to discuss rail history.
