"somewhere" is an article describing the effort to stabilize the locomotives with new ballast, ties, and rail. Of note is the need to carry in ballast in buckets.

Maybe a more highly skilled web searcher can find the story I recall.

The first is the 109 the 4-6-0 before going to Maine,
The second is sister 756 the same class as 780 now in Maine,, Pat.
