Erik Ledbetter died suddenly on July 1, 2025.
Erik was a frequent contributor to this board, the print RyPN and Trains magazine among others.

Eric was the gentleman that brought me to RYPN as moderator… We spent a day together in DC, Exploring, with him his explaining his vision for the site and rules for moderation (If I delete a post I keep a copy). At the time he was working for the American Museum Association. He had to pull back from the site as things got weird (the first of many times).
