The webpage of the Kentucky RR Museum that is rebuilding ex C&O 2716, does not have much on any updates... I am following the same locomotive on Facebook, but there don't seen to be too much there either...
I am not looking for week by week or month by month,, but I would like to see something,,on the current webpage,, of where the locomotive is in the current state of rebuilding.???
The current webpage will show the history of the locomotive,, but there is not anything new in the ( News section).. ???
I am not looking for when will the locomotive will be completed,,and ready for test fire,, just the process on how the rebuilding is coming along... Thank you,,Pat.

There seems to have been a lot of inner turmoil within the group in the past year or so. There was the whole issue with the contractor using other people's photos and videos to generate his own revenue-generating content that had KSHCorp. having to say that he didn't speak for them, then the former president made a post on AoTT (which has since vanished) that a group of "disgruntled former members of the board" had tried to rile up the volunteers into making a "vote of no confidence" in the current board and then have themselves voted into being in charge, and then announced two weeks ago that Next Gen Rail Solutions lease had expired and was not being renewed.

Starting to think ol' 2716 is cursed or something.

Unfortunately this is something that I noticed was the case for the last several years, and has been my main point of criticism towards the group. The group always seems to chase after whatever shiny thing enters their vision.... This has left 2716 mostly disassembled, and with little to know working being visible; while side projects increasingly take center stage. At this point it may just be better to replace what was removed and tow it back to the museum.
