Do any of your nonprofit organizations receive grants/donations from Donor Advised Funds? Are you set up through any portals like DAFpay for example? I'm curious as I've been asked about it from a potential donor and I'm considering if it's worth the time to sign up with a portal and put a widget on our website. I don't see a downside right off but then I don't expect thundering herds clamoring to throw tons of money at us either.

We received some donations with the condition that we sign up for DAF accounts. One was renaissance charitable. I don't recall what the other was. Both had a registration process involved that took some time but it wasn't too bad. One of our regular contributors uses a DAF, so it was certainly worth it for us.
Occasionally you may be asked for updated information, but otherwise is low-maintenance.
