Thank's for the link. This video was heads and shoulders above the M.J. train ride video in every respect.

Looks to be a mining RR somewhere in Scandinavia (but I may be wildly wrong about that)... can anyone supply the details?

After looking at the video, I thought I recognized the engine. From Brian Hollingsworth & Arthur CookÂ’s book, Â“Modern Locomotives:Â” Swedish Electric loco. Class Dm3 1-D+D+D-1. Three articulated units using 15,000 Volt 16 2/3 Hz single phase power from an overhead wire. Weight is 528,960 lbs and tractive effort is 210,000 lbs with a top speed of 47 mph or 75 km/hour. They are hauling iron ore from Swedish Lappland in the north to the ice free port, Narvik, a distance of 295 miles. Line goes north of the Arctic Circle on itÂ’s way to and from itÂ’s end points.
