PostPosted: Thu Feb 05, 2004 12:46 pm

Dear Rail Fans:
The Southeaster Railway Museum, GeorgiaÂ’s Official Transportation History Museum, is establishing a Wall of Honor dedicated to the men and women who built, operated, and maintained the transportation systems that have made this nation prosper. Our Wall of Honor will contain individual plaques dedicated to those sponsored individuals who have worked in every phase of the railroad industry including those men and women who worked in the service and safety sides such as Maintenance of way, Signals, Intermodal and those in passenger service positions.
The wall will honor people who were in every phase of the transportation industry. This Wall of Honor will be a lasting tribute to their individual efforts to the greater team effort. Their names on the museum wall will be viewed by thousands of people each year from all over the world.
From our earliest days the Southeastern Railway Museum and many of the readers of RYPN have worked hand in hand to demonstrate to the public the proud history of rail transportation. We invite each reader of RYPN to sponsor a family member, or retired/ current employee. We are seeking Honorees from all areas of the country. We also request that each reader pass this information along to their family, employees and retired personnel groups so that other individuals may sponsor friends and family members.
We seek YOUR HELP in reaching our mission as YOU HONOR a person who played an important role in transportation. Please help us preserve Rail Transportation History. Honor those who built, operated and maintained the transportation systems that are the strength of this country. We invite you to join us.

Ron, is there a suggested donation amount for this program? Did I just miss it in the posting? Bifocals pitted with welding slag.
