My info on the previously posted photo of the Des Moines was incorrect, that is actually quite an old photo. The below link has more up to date photos. The "domes" over the guns have been removed, and it looks like the ship is starting to deteriorate pretty badly.

The last remaining ships of an entire class of steam powered destroyers (and the U.S. Navy's first guided missile destroyers) are close to being lost. The link below details the efforts to save one.
