Looking for info on Chestnut Ridge Railway

I am looking for historical and current? information on this railroad which is located near Palmerton, PA and formerly served the NJ Zinc company (right??)

Anything that answers questions such as Does it still exist? What is motive power? Customer base? Interchange with?

My cousin co-wrote a history of the Chestnut Ridge that appeared in Railfan magazine around 1979. It;s still the best account of the line I have read.
