Greetings:
El Paso & Southwestern No. 1, a 4-4-0 built in 1857 is back on public display. The new SunMetro parking garage/bus terminal/retail space/mini railroad museum was dedicated this afternoon.
I attended and made a few remarks on the significance of the locomotive.
When completed, I will submit the conservation and restoration report for publication.
