Engine Number Plate *PIC*

I am trying to figure out the origin of this number plate. I think it is Canadian but not sure what railroad or if it is even Canadian, at all. Anyone have any ideas?

I think you are right it is canadian. I compared it to a picture i have a canadian G-3s. The design and number styling are very simular if not exact but your are probably right about it being canadian.

Well it's not CN and it's not CP.

Erie K-4 4-6-2. The shape of the numbers match. Nice carpet, by the way.
