Preserved MBTA GP-9(?) #1921, in B&M maroon & gold, apparently in service pulling MBTA commuter trains in Boston. The linked photo shows the unit at Boston's South Station. These daily commuter trains are usually powered by GP40's(?) or some such modern engines.

Anyone know this engine's heritage? I don't believe it is a former B&M loco. And can they be that short on power? ;-)

What's curious to me is how they got use of the B&M minuteman herald. It isn't identical to the original but very close. Does anyone know how jealous Guilford is of these things?
