I'm needing a four-feed Manzel type mechanical lubricator for flanges on Nevada Northern 4-6-0 #40.

Is anyone still extensively using K brakes? We have hundreds of complete "cores" and shelves full of brand new old stock internal parts. Also hundreds of new reservoir release valves.

We also have three complete modules and lots of parts for Harmon's motion-detector road crossing signals. This is pre-"Phase-Motion" Detector. If you use the older system call us about getting this equipment, or it will be thrown away. 775-296-1523.

Jack, the Cumbres and Toltec still uses K-brakes on a lot of their historic equipment.

We still have 15 cars in service at the Huckleberry Railroad with K brakes. Need any steam heat equipment?

You can get a Manzel Lubricator from T.F. Hudgins Co. out of Houston, Texas. Talk to Paul Stepanski at (713) 682-3651, he should be able to fix you up.
I installed two of them on the Tarantula Engine #2248 over 10 years ago, and as far as I know, they are still working fine.

A number of museums like Orange Empire Ry Museum still maintain K-brakes on the cars in their collection. If you operate this stuff you still have to clean, repair and test the equipment using a 3-T rack.

Pittsburgh Air Brake Company does test and repair work of K brakes as well as P and L triples and later U-12, D-22 and AB valves as well as all kinds of locomotive equipment. See their website.
