Did the Lehigh Valley have any particular paint scheme on its steam locomotives. I attached a photo of a brillantly painted up example.

Jeff-

Mostly they were black with the exception of the "streamlined" engines and some other engines on a few of the named trains (The Asa Packer?).

This paint job was put only on this engine for this trip with Lehigh Valley Veterans on Sep. 9, 1923 to Harveys Lake. Veterans here are people who worked on the Lehigh Valley 25 years and not some one who was in the army. For the paint used on the steam engines go with black with white lettering and you will not go wrong.
