This is additional information about the Casey Jones seat that we have at our RR museum. The seat is approximately 66" wide by 18-1/2". The back is a little shorter because it pivots between the arms. The frame is what I would call angle iron about 2" wide. The arms and middle leg are cast (probably iron) with the raised letters "Casey Jones" cast in the arms. There is no wood left in the frame, but I suspect that the back and seat had some sort of wood frame that was upholstered. There are screw holes in the back to hold on the back and the seat was held in place by gravity. There are screw holes in the legs to secure the bench to the floor. I have no idea where the seat was used or what era it is from. We would appreciate any information. Thanks.
