Horseshoe Curve Horn & Whistle Fair Altoona, Pa. Saturday, Sunday, June 26, 27th.

See, and hear all types of airhorns & whistles, great echo's!

Bring your air operated treasure! Got air? Indeed we have lots of it!

Something new added this year, Trucks equipped to blow Diesel airhorns demonstrating in runby's, like a train going by doppler included.

Amtrak, & NS. Join the show sounding their horns around the curve, We blow their doors off!

PLease come out to support Ed and his group. They have graciously agreed to oversee this event for the Museum and Horseshor Curve. Visit the Museum website to see all the other things going on at the Museum and Curve on the 26th and 27th. You won't be disappointed!!

Should be something. RDG once parked 0-6-0T 1251 at Reading Outer Station with a passenger chime and a long whistle cord hanging outside the cab.

You could hear that whistle all the way up at the Pagoda on Mt. Penn!

1251 still sports a six-chime to this day, but it's really tough to get any sound out of it.
Have to settle for #90 across the street.

One of my vague fantasies is having one of these horns-- but I note in doing the eBay search from your site that two of the ones that pop up are being sold specifically to placate a wife or fiance!
