FWIW, Netscape 3.03 works OK too (with Java 1.1.8). I think it may depend on the version of java the user has on his system.

I'm running Mozilla (a Netscape-ish browser) on Linux without issues.

And I'm using Mozilla 1.6 running under Windows XP, and it seems to be working fine for me.
