I ran into an interesting peice of equipment. Self described as a Nathan Style 52 Boiler Tester. It has 3 large pipe connections. Two of them are controlled by valves at one end. While the other end has the third. In between there are another valve with a circular handle. Directly across is a small what looks like a relief valve. There is also a spring loaded dial that points to a "T" or a "W" I believe this may describe test or working pressure? If any of you have seen one of these in an old roundhouse or any technical information in a Nathan book/ catalog or tech manual I would enjoy hearing about any information you may have.

Hi The t is for test ie high press. low vol. W is for washout high vol. low press. I hope that answers your question. regards bb

Thanks for your response, do you know of any documented instructions for these, for example catalag etc? Where did you obtain yours?
