To celebrate the centennial of the DL&W freight and passenger stations in Moscow, the Lackawanna & Wyoming Valley chapter, NRHS, will open the stations during the Moscow Country fair, July 31 and Aug 1. Tha station is to be a shuttle stop on the fair's route. We will also staff a booth at the fair.
Our August membership meeting will be on Sunday, Aug 8 starting at 1pm.
With no trains from Steamtown arriving at the station this year, we are looking at alternate uses for this neat little set of buildings.
